MARTHA DAYTON PRESIDENT, PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
With over 20 years as a design professional, Martha Dayton is known for the creation of beautiful environments through expert space planning and a chic design eye. Martha is adept at leading and inspiring large, interdisciplinary projects with exquisite results. Throughout her career, whether residential or commercial, Martha has developed high-profile design projects including Eleven on the River and several Solhem Commercial Properties, and has been recognized for design excellence locally and nationally.
Martha spent the early part of her career in Providence and Boston, re-imagining single and multi-family homes. After moving to Minneapolis she worked in commercial real estate leasing before joining The Lander Group as their President of Design. In 2005, she founded Martha Dayton Design and began building a portfolio of success on projects that span the United States and Central America, including New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Jose Del Cabo and Costa Rica.
Outside of spending time with her family, Martha finds inspiration in photography, art and travel. Her mission to support the community is paramount. She’s passionate about education, the arts, and advocates for diabetes care and healthy living. She was a founding member of PAB’S PACKS, a non-profit organization serving chronically ill teenagers with repeat hospital visits. She is currently on the board of Minneapolis College of Art and Design and has served as a member on numerous boards, including The Blake School, Minnesota Children’s Museum, the Walker Art Center, and Friends of PACER.

THE TEAM
KELLY PERRY DESIGN DIRECTOR
Known for assembling gorgeous design details with unexpected flair, Kelly Perry approaches each project with the refinement of an artist. Drawing on her extensive fine arts background, Kelly’s artful sensibilities bring unexpected beauty to both residential and commercial projects. Her work has been featured in Midwest Home and Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine.
Kelly grew up in Minneapolis and headed east to study jewelry design and business at Skidmore College in upstate New York. Soon after graduating, she moved to Manhattan and designed jewelry with Elsa Peretti at Tiffany & Company. She returned to Minneapolis a decade later, becoming a consultant for Christie’s Fine Art Auctioneers. She joined Martha Dayton Design immediately after its founding in 2005.
Perry delights in expressive designer digs and brings that to life at her own home as well. In her free time she enjoys being on the lake and around the dinner table with her husband and two grown sons. She has served on the Alumni board at Breck School as well as the Friends Board of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. She is a certified yoga instructor, who also enjoys gardening, cooking, and entertaining.

KORY KEVIN RECKINGER SENIOR DESIGN PROJECT MANAGER
Kory brings his technical background to the team’s design. He has made it a mission to find inspiration in form and function. Kory carefully balances aesthetics with technical precision on residential, boutique commercial and urban development projects. His modern design eye welcomes rustic influences with elegance and refined energy.
Kory’s love for design began with his studies in advertising and graphic design at St. Cloud State. His passion for interiors led to an additional degree in interior design. He has a decade in retail merchandising before finally making the leap into the Minneapolis interior design scene. He joined Martha Dayton Design in 2015 to pursue his passion in residential design.
Outside of the design studio, Kory spends time with a gorgeous group of ladies; his wife Kate, daughter Eleanor and his dog (Pointer) Heidi. Kory also plays guitar, writes music, and loves photography.

NANCY MORTON PROJECT/OFFICE MANAGER
With a career built on the development of brands in the home and fashion categories, Nancy Morton brings decades of sourcing, trend and merchandising expertise to the team. Nancy’s knowledge of textiles and product development, paired with her organizational skills, make her an integral part of each project process.
A Minneapolis native, Nancy attended the University of Minnesota and studied textile and clothing design. She’s focused her creative and business talents with large and boutique brands like Target, Chico’s and Kuhlman, in buying, marketing and operation roles.
With a passion for the outdoors, Nancy enjoys adventuring with her three boys on hikes, paddle boarding and travel to favorite family destinations. She’s a member of Fashion Group International and a past Co-Chair for the Night of Stars. She has also served as President of the Parent Teacher Organization for her son’s schools.

SARAH HOGG DESIGN ASSOCIATE
With a passion for European design and interiors, Sarah Hogg has returned home to Minneapolis and joined the Martha Dayton Design team. Balancing just the right amount of style and function, Sarah enjoys creating eclectic contemporary experiences that are uniquely personalized with texture and color. Her professional background includes impressive residential and commercial projects in New York and Minneapolis.

Sarah’s passion for interiors kicked in shortly after completion of a degree in Economics. Realizing her true calling, she entered the New York School of Interior Design and the rest is history. Sarah has worked with distinguished studios in New York City and gained an impressive portfolio of work. She brings a refined designer eye and exceptional technical skill to the team.

Outside of her career in design, Sarah is busy getting her boyfriend acquainted with all that the Twin Cities has to offer, training a new puppy and spending time with family and friends.
